2020 Hyundai Venue – The Subcompact SUV You are in Search of

The Kona will no more be the entry-level crossover of Hyundai for long. And the credit goes to the new 2020 Venue subcompact SUV of Hyundai – a small crossover, which essentially fills the void left by Hyundai’s decision to stop providing a four-door hatch version of the Accent subcompact.

But what are new in this model, why one should buy it, and a lot more questions might come to your mind before investing in this car model? Here, we have listed down a few features of this car.

Lenticular light show

The 2020 Venue subcompact SUV of Hyundai has a “world first” in its rear taillight execution. In place of using the traditional combination of lenses, bulbs, as well as reflections, the strips of light above the central lamp employ lenticular lenses. This thin, translucent film has a special printed pattern, which appears to move as you do. While backlit by a simple bulb, an optical illusion of depth is created. According to the Hyundai head of design SangYup Lee, there will be different patterns in their entry-level cars in the near future.

Loaded with goodies

Lee termed the interior of the Venue as a “personal sanctuary”. It is because it appears to be one loaded with goodies that generally not found in enter-level cars. Moreover, the car offers side-mirrors and heated seats, power sunroof, push-button ignition, and driver-assistance systems like rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring systems, and lane-keeping assist. There is an 8.0-inch touchscreen display upfront, that pairs with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Though the official price is yet not announced, it is expected that it will be under $20,000. But you have to wait by the fall of 2019, to order the car.
